Job Summary

TalentWise LLC is building a pipeline of advanced IT and infrastructure professionals to support anticipated government contract awards with Arlington County, VA.

The ITS Network Analyst performs advanced technical work supporting Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), including installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of networked field devices such as traffic signals, CCTV systems, and communication infrastructure.

This role operates independently in both field and office environments, supporting critical transportation systems and ensuring reliable network connectivity, system performance, and compliance with operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain ITS infrastructure, including network devices and field equipment 
  • Manage and troubleshoot network connectivity (TCP/IP, subnetting, SNMP, and related protocols) 
  • Integrate field devices (e.g., CCTV, traffic signals, sensors) into centralized systems 
  • Monitor system performance and ensure reliability of transportation networks 
  • Diagnose and resolve network, communication, and device-related issues 
  • Coordinate with IT teams, engineers, and vendors to support system operations and upgrades 
  • Review and inspect contractor work to ensure compliance with technical standards 
  • Provide technical guidance and training to staff and contractors 
  • Support network planning, upgrades, and infrastructure improvements 
  • Maintain system documentation, asset records, and operational data 
  • Assist in developing tools, metrics, and procedures to improve system monitoring and maintenance 
  • Respond to emergencies and support after-hours operations as required 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field 
  • Experience in network administration, ITS systems, or enterprise infrastructure support 
  • Knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, subnetting, network protocols, and system integration) 
  • Experience with installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of networked systems 
  • Ability to work independently in field and technical environments 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences 
  • Valid driver’s license as required
