HRIS Coordinator (Future Contract Opportunity)
Job Summary
TalentWise LLC is building a pipeline of human resources and HR systems professionals to support anticipated government contract awards with Arlington County, VA.
The HRIS Coordinator provides technical, administrative, and customer service support for human resources information systems and data management processes. This role supports HR operations by ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee data, onboarding activities, and system transactions.
The position works closely with HR staff, payroll, and IT stakeholders to maintain data integrity, resolve system issues, and support efficient HRIS operations in a high-volume environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process HRIS transactions including hires, promotions, transfers, reclassifications, and pay actions
- Ensure data accuracy and compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations
- Support onboarding processes, including reviewing documentation and setting up employee records
- Maintain and update employee data across HR systems (e.g., HRIS, recruitment systems)
- Respond to inquiries from HR staff and provide guidance on HRIS processes and policies
- Conduct audits and quality checks to ensure accuracy of HR data
- Collaborate with payroll, compensation, recruiting, and IT teams to resolve issues
- Support payroll processing activities and ensure accurate data integration
- Assist with system testing, upgrades, and implementation of HRIS enhancements
- Develop and deliver training on HRIS processes and onboarding procedures
- Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and data accuracy
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
- Considerable experience in human resources administration, preferably with HRIS systems
- Knowledge of HR processes, data management, and compliance requirements
- Experience working with HR systems (e.g., Oracle HRIS, NeoGov, or similar platforms)
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy skills
- Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
