Staff Administrative Supervisor (Future Contract Opportunity)
Job Summary
TalentWise LLC is building a pipeline of supervisory administrative professionals to support anticipated government contract awards with Arlington County, VA.
The Staff Administrative Supervisor provides executive-level administrative support while overseeing a centralized administrative support team. This role manages daily operations, supervises staff, and ensures efficient delivery of administrative and customer service functions across multiple departments.
The position plays a key role in coordinating administrative processes, supporting leadership, and maintaining high-quality service delivery for internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage a team providing administrative and customer service support
- Assign, review, and monitor staff work to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and quality
- Train, mentor, and evaluate staff performance; support hiring and onboarding activities
- Provide executive-level administrative support, including calendar management and meeting coordination
- Serve as primary point of contact for employees, vendors, and the public
- Oversee administrative processes such as onboarding, payroll coordination, accounts payable, and procurement support
- Track, analyze, and report operational metrics and performance data
- Develop and maintain administrative procedures, workflows, and documentation
- Coordinate cross-departmental administrative support activities
- Support compliance with policies, records retention requirements, and regulations
- Assist with system testing, process improvements, and special projects
- Ensure effective communication between leadership, staff, and stakeholders
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or equivalent coursework in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field
- Significant experience in administrative support and/or customer service
- Experience in a supervisory or lead role preferred
- Strong knowledge of administrative operations, HR processes, and office procedures
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team management skills
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Proficiency with office systems and administrative tools
