Human Resources / Organizational Development Specialist (Future Contract Opportunity)
Job Summary
TalentWise LLC is building a pipeline of senior human resources professionals to support anticipated government contract awards with Arlington County, VA.
The Human Resources / Organizational Development Specialist provides professional HR generalist and organizational development services to support workforce planning, employee relations, recruitment, and organizational effectiveness. This role partners with leadership to design and implement HR programs, improve organizational performance, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
The position serves as a subject matter expert and advisor, supporting strategic initiatives, resolving complex HR issues, and enhancing workforce development and engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide HR consulting and advisory services to leadership and staff on policies, procedures, and workforce matters
- Support recruitment activities, including job analysis, announcements, candidate evaluation, and selection processes
- Assist with organizational design, workforce planning, and job structure development
- Analyze compensation, benefits, and employee relations issues and recommend solutions
- Support performance management processes, employee coaching, and development initiatives
- Conduct research, benchmarking, and analysis to improve HR programs and services
- Lead or support organizational development initiatives, including team building and process improvement
- Assist with employee relations activities, including investigations, grievance processes, and conflict resolution
- Develop and deliver training, presentations, and HR-related communications
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local HR regulations and policies
- Manage HR-related projects and initiatives, including policy development and program implementation
- Maintain accurate HR records and documentation
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field
- Considerable experience in human resources management, organizational development, or related HR specialty areas
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, regulations, and best practices
- Experience in employee relations, recruitment, and organizational development
- Ability to analyze complex HR issues and provide strategic recommendations
- Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Proficiency with HR systems and standard office software
