Job Summary

TalentWise LLC is building a pipeline of operations and logistics support professionals to support anticipated government contract awards with Arlington County, VA.

The Delivery Driver performs collection, transportation, and delivery of materials, equipment, mail, and other items across County locations. This role ensures timely and accurate delivery services while maintaining vehicle safety, records, and compliance with operational procedures.

The position requires reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in both indoor and outdoor environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, transport, and deliver supplies, equipment, mail, and other materials to various locations 
• Operate vehicles such as cars, vans, and trucks safely and efficiently 
• Plan and prioritize delivery routes to meet schedules and special requests 
• Load and unload materials in accordance with delivery schedules 
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and transactions 
• Handle and document monetary items and complete required deposits 
• Interact with staff to coordinate delivery needs and resolve issues 
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and ensure proper operation 
• Maintain vehicle logs, including mileage, fuel usage, and destinations 
• Arrange for vehicle maintenance, cleaning, and repairs as needed 
• Assist with basic manual tasks such as lifting, transporting items, and setup activities 

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license in accordance with applicable policies 
• Ability to operate vehicles safely in various traffic and weather conditions 
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety procedures 
• Ability to follow instructions and complete delivery documentation 
• Strong reliability and time management skills 
• Ability to lift and move materials (medium physical work requirements) 
• Ability to work independently and interact professionally with staff
